University Highlights

For more than seventy years, Appalachian State University has been a center of study for music students throughout the world. The Hayes School of Music at Appalachian offers a combined program of academic studies and professional musical training of unparalleled quality within a university framework. Individual attention, detailed musical and technical development, and the encouragement of each student's artistic potential in performance serve as the foundation of the program in vocal and instrumental studies.

Housing and Meals

Housing is available in Appalachian's Living Learning Center. 2 bedrooms make up a suite and each suite has a single bathroom. Each bedroom has 2 twin beds. On the registration pages you have an option of "Double Occupancy" (sharing a bedroom) and indicating your roommate's name.
